Pickled Red Onions

Pickled Red Onions

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 tsp. salt

  • 2 tsp. sugar

Thinly slice the red onion and place in a heat safe container.

In a small pot bring the vinegar, water, salt, and sugar to a boil. Once at a boil pour the liquid over the onions. Let the onions sit at room temperature for 20 minutes then serve or store in the fridge. Pickled red onions get better the longer they sit.
